Probably high seniority. I had a friend get the Saab as a newhire, but she got real lucky.

Hey if you guys are based in the NE do you primarily stay there or do you work your way around the country to like LAX and stuff that would be ncie

Thanks!!! what about skywest... this site says they have both crj and emb at lax but their site doesnt have it listed.....any other regionals out of LA area? i know LAX is popular for Pilots but it doesnt hurt to ask! Thanks again

CRJ at LAX and SFO is reserve only...just a few lines and very senior.

If you want to get based at LAX with Eagle, the SF3 is your only choice. As stated before, 2 yrs. seniority is required to hold ERJ out of LAX. SF3 LAX's seniority list is a little bit different. The bottom of the list is very junior for FO's, but the top half has some of the most senior FO's in the system. LAX for Skywest is, indeed, a CRJ reserve base only. One option that has not been brought up is that LAX is now a base for ASA, and I've been told people with about a year's seniority with the company can hold LAX. The flying out here is a lot of fun!
