Very good point! From most XJET employee posts on this site, that won't happen unless it's Southwest rates plus 2% corrected for seat count!!!

Just so you know, most SLI's have a basic system preventing any displacements based on domicile or seat. The only positions available will be vacancies.

Ask the pncl guys how that worked for them.

Also is it possible for a company to declare bankruptcy for only part of the company?

Can you post further about how a current pilot in their position was kicked out of their seat due to this ruling?

Several dozen pncl captains were displaced back to fo and mesa captains took their place.

I realize this statement is a joke, but for the record, the displacements occurring at Pinnacle Corp right now, while indirectly related to the ISL, are technically due to the parking of some 40 odd Mesaba Saabs by Delta. It was clearly stated by the arbiter that no one could be displaced as a result of the ISL. Technically no one was...

What's happening at Corp now is a train wreck but it's not ALL because of the ISL.

Back to the original discussion point of how no one will be displaced due to the SLI.

If a captain is displaced to the right seat, does his/or her pay remain the same?
Slightly off topic, if a fo upgraded to captain after 6 years, would his/or her pay translate to 6th year captain pay, or 1st year captain pay?

He's messing with you. It was actually kind of a funny joke if you get it.

Downgraded captains are reduced back to FO pay at every company I'm aware of. Longevity pay is based on total years of service meaning that if you upgrade in year 6 you go from 6 year FO pay to 6 year captain pay.
