Am I typing in English???

Why do I respond??? As I said before...My friend in standards and I had a talk about the video...what he did with the info is his business since he is in STANDARS at the airline. Mesa management self disclosed it to the FAA...much like FedEx management and any other airline management would do. It all comes down to HE DID THIS TO HIMSELF. I could care less who he knows at FedEx or anywhere else, they can't help him expain this in an interview...it is REALLY STUPID to blatantly break a FAR and then post it for everyone to see. What’s next...drinking before a flight and bragging about it? Going below minimums and then telling the tower...

He is lucky that there are people out there willing to get a guy his job back when it is clear he can't follow the rules... it is a safety of flight thing.

So the guy in pro-standards told the FAA and the company? The pilot in question did NOT have a conversation with pro-standards...he just got called in to see the CP. Since when does pro-standards report something directly to the company/faa without talking to the pilot to at least hear what he has to say?

Not really makin sense here...

But if you called MAG alpa pro-standards (and not the company or feds), well that's cool that's the way it's supposed to work. Based on the way the whole thing played out it appeared that somebody contacted the company directly without any attempt at pilot-to-pilot intervention (the company did self-disclose).

Global. After about a year of that I bailed.

Note: if you are a junior mesa FO, your seniority will rise at a fantastic rate 50-100+ numbers/month as more senior FO's quit in disgust. But once you get to the captain threshold, it comes to a screeching halt.

I beg to differ, Rick. I have been at Mesa since Feb., and my global seniority number has moved up only 100 slot. In my domicile, it has moved up ZERO. As it stands now, I will be on reserve for all eternity.

What a devastating rebuttal.

If you're in PHX, that is true.

On the Freedom side. No new hires here since my class in February. The big hope now is the Delta RFP. Drum roll please.....
