don't any of you get tired of it.....and besides with all the young peeps on here, it sets a bad example...

Ah...um....Huh? When I get tired of the postings I don't read them. There are some postings I never read because the title doesn't appeal to me. I feel sorry for the moderators that read every message. If you don't want read about bitching and moaning don't read the forum.

Nothing's gonna change, People will BIT$$ about MESA, ASA, CHAUTAQUA, COLGAN, GREAT LAKES, GO JETS, MESABA, and etc. Any I left out??

Sometimes I read them hoping one of these airlines are gonna tank but most likely not, just don't look anymore.

Some pilots will never see the big picture that the regional pilots are working for subcontractors, meaning a job today but when the contracts come up they could be on the street.

Instead of whining and making a career at a regional they need to move on to bigger and better. The regionals are nothing like they were 10 years ago, not like much is anywayz.

Yea back then you had to be a pilot, a FA and a dispatcher at the same time.

I complain an awful lot, you guys are def right, we all should just go back and read, "high Flight" I think thats what its called, makes me take a step back and realize that its never as bad as it seems, well until your 45 with a mortgage and family and get furloughed, then its bad :( Hopefully things will turn around I mean there def is alot of retiring that will be going on in the next decade as well as decreasing student Pilot certificates who knows, lest all just hope for the best :)

you have two types of people in this world.

pessimists-will always be here to complain, criticize and belittle the companies and employees of them that we see as ruining the industry.

optimists-yeah things seem bad right now, but i think its getting better. and lets face it, we complain about wages (and they need to get better) but its not like its poverty, i mean heck its upper middle class incomes we are bitching about (7 year captain!!??)

whichever side of the coin you are on, its great that everyone has a place to vent and have others listen and comment.
