I completely agree with you. We have pretty good training schedules which makes it a lot easier to go home (3 or 4 ON, 3 OFF). So far it has been a very easy 1 leg commute for me and it seems like everybody here in training, newhires and transitions, is taking advantage of the 3 days off and going home. It's also nice because I am here when my roommate is gone and he is here when I am gone. I think this has made training so much more bearable than if I wouldn't have been able to go home. Although each time I do it, the thought of not making the commute back is always lingering in the back of my mind, however I have been taking AM flights the day before I am due back and only once have I had to go to one of the 5 backup flights later in the day.
