If we get 100 seat jets, you can kiss good bye any hope of ever upgrading/going to AA/ etc, because that will put hiring over there to an end for a LONG LONG TIME, and what we want more than anything is for them to hire a few hundred next year. I do NOT want eagle to fly bigger planes, I want mainline to fly them.

I am not excited about 100 seat jets other than the opportunity to fly the E-190 which is apparently a fantastic airplane. The point is that this is further reason why our pilot group must reject our current TA proposal. End of story.

There is alot that you guys outside of AMR/Eagle are not aware of. Those of us who work for the company, attend the road shows, talk to senior Captains, people in the cheif pilots office, union reps, etc... have a wealth of knowledge to share.

Try not to sh*t on it next time.

Dude, don't even go there with this BS. There is alot that YOU are not aware of.

Dude, get out of the crew room. We are about to get whipsawed, and if we vote no it will just happen faster. Also the RUMORS around the crew room/ mainly chief pilots office, based on the police being there is they have been watching some tapes and caught a few people putting those vote NO stickers in the accumulator door, and they are all going to be arrested for a few criminal charges and also get fired. That is not a rumor from what I heard between the police/homelandsecurity/chief pilot while waiting to go in with a question.

I think your def. listening to a few idiots in the Dfw crew room and need to stop, its beyond reasonable. Also I think the divestiture is looking more and more likely daily, since everything keeps moving along the process. The question will be do they get it done before filing CH 11.

Whatever you say boss.

Please, enlighten us then if you know it all.

For the record, I'm not pulling for 100 seat jets one way or the other. I'm simply providing information. Some of you are acting like I'm the one who wrote that article.

And if that article was the only leg I had to stand on I wouldn't have shared anything. Fact is I have been hearing and discussing this with various senior level people at Eagle over the past few weeks who have confirmed-both directly and indirectly- that something is in the works regarding 100 seat jets.

Now, if any of you have INFORMATION to contribute...by all means do. Simply arguing for argument's sake with nothing solid is pathetic. Then again this is the internet....

Here's a fact, our crew room caught on fire the other day because the terminal is a dump. That was kind of funny...

Haha.... those people have the same knowledge as to what's going on as my cat back home.

Here at XJT, if the stuff that came from the CPO, senior capts, union reps was ever remotely true, we'd have 70 seaters, a DEN and IAD base a year ago and so much more. What you are talking are typical airline rumors. You clearly haven't been in this industry long. When big things happen, everyone knows at the same time. There is none of this secretive crap that only union reps and CPs know about.

All YOU have provided is speculation and rumor. You have provided nothing solid. You have provided no information except a news article that says new gates that COULD accomodate 100 seats jet might be POSSIBLE.

We do come with information, which is crew room rumors are BS.

Sorry, this isn't XJT.

Is there some reason why you are pounding your feet on the ground about this? You don't even work for Eagle...what difference does it make to you??

If you would like to provide a logical argument..for whatever reason; start with this one: Explain why Eagle's terminal in DFW is being expanded and modified to accomodate 100 seat jets. This is not rumor but fact.

First off, it makes a difference to this entire industry. Just the thought of any more flying going to any regional makes me sick.

Next, prove to me that the terminal is definitely being expanded, and the supposed expansion proves that Eagle would be operating the jets for it.

EDIT: Dude, you've been with Eagle about 6 months? I can't believe I am arguing industry basics with a noob. Fine.... if you want to believe rumors over people who have been around this industry long enough to know this is complete horse doodoo, go ahead and believe it. I hear ignorance is bliss.
