PNCL stock today
 

Any idea what could have cause a jump to over 1.00 per share price today? All other airline stocks losing?

news that they dont have to pay bombardier for 3 months. When they cant pay them in 3 months it will tank again

So far PNCL is up 27.95% to $1.03. DAL is up 4.14% to $10.82. SKYW is up 0.59% to $12.86 and LUV is down 9.34% to $9.40.

They realized they were off by a decimal point in their calculations? Maybe? :s

LCC is also up. Almost $2.00 in the past three trading days.

Delta has a hard on for them.

I'll take my couple hundred bucks that it made me in the last few days :)

Just wait until the Q4 report comes out and watch the landslide...

Fair enough...I was mistaken about other airlines but the deferred payments came out last week.

And AAG is up .05% at $74.59. Or down a penny, depending on where you look apparently? :)

Up another 35% today. What the fudge is going on?

Up to 51% now. Evidently investor confidence is high that we will avoid bankruptcy. (Not saying we will)

Rumor is they brought Chuck C back to recruit and hire FAs and the uniform change is back to the old SWA outfits! Finally, someone gets it beside Branson! Who would you rather be delayed with? Tundra sows or 20 something's recruited straight from Victoria's Secret in the mall? ;)

Strong rumor is Will Shatner is coming on board to negotiate with all of the "stake holders"

Complete conjecture here, but it seems that the longer we go without bankruptcy the less likely it is actually going to occur?

No idea but I'm holding out for spring, seems as if we can get there things should smooth over.

It's because we stopped using our APUs.

Could be that Bombardier's Financing Arm has agreed to allow us to defer payments which shores up liquidity for the next 3 months. Could be these investors think they wouldn't do this unless they've seen something to make the bankers think they'll get a good return out of this. Could be they've got some orders in exchange for giving us a break. Doubt it would be more 900s as those are scoped out. Could be we've cut a deal with UA on the Q that will allow us to make money on them and replace Saabs with Q400s and Bombardier is helping us out because they know we are about to order more aircraft.

wow i better put a stop loss order in. I am up almost $50 on my shares.

Don't spend it all in one place

A trailing stop loss order may work better. That way you can lock in your gains no less than 20% (or whatever number) from the high after you are in, instead of simply utilizing a price or percentage point in a stop loss order.

Kind of a moot point since it went back down today.

That's why I have a good chunk of change in Boeing... picking up some nice gains, get a nice dividend payout next week when it goes ex-dividend on the 8th, and the knowledge that it WONT go bankrupt in the next few months... have fun with your PNCL stock... hopefully it will be worth something someday...

I wasn't talking about PNCL stock specifically. Only a trailing stop loss. Kinda goes for any position.

i only put in $100 so $50 profit is pretty nice. I didnt sell though. If we bankrupt and i loose it o well. Now if we get through this storm and it goes back to $8 a share i will make $700 from 100. I will take that bet.

Didnt mean the reply to be a quote of yours... sorry... the trailing stop loss play is the best way to play a stock you expect to grow in price to hedge your bets while keeping on the roller coaster as it goes up...

Although PNCL will be on its way up in the short term, I believe it is too risky to put your money in to at this time... for those of you looking to make money in the stock market, there are plenty of better options...

It's a relatively easy day trade play, but not an investment.

You work here and you are buying stock?? Why? You experience what goes on here everyday, the incompetence, the waste and the low morale. Do you really think this company will pull out of this? You basically have insider knowledge of how how poorly run this place is, when/if I play 9E it will only be to short it. It is almost a sure thing.

Some would say you have unfortunately just described 90% of America today.
