XJT goes corporate
 
XJT announded today the creation of a new division of its ExpressJet Airlines subsidiary. XJT Corporate Aviation designed to provide distinctive solutions for corporations, aircraft brokers, hospitality companies and others.
ExpressJet Corp Aviation will begin operations in Dec 06 with EMB 145XR aircraft and is initially expected to grow to a dedicated fleet of ten aircraft by May 07 with the potentential to add an additional five.
The aircraft will be configured with 50 redesigned seats for enhanced passenger comfort and each will include XM radio with an agreement from LiveTV. In addition to the basic service offering, customized flight service options will give customers an opportunity to creat a unique flight experience.
ExpressJet will source the aircraft from some of the newest and younges aircraft in the ExpressJet Airlines current fleet,resulting in an average fleet age of less than one year for this newest division of ExpressJet

Just curious. I was wondering if that statement was released on the web some where. If you work for XJT then I know where you got it from.

If they are truely going after corporate, I don't think they have a clue by keeping the plane loaded with 50 seats. . . .

Ellen you have no clue what's going on. We have been doing charters for years and we are going to continue doing those same charters. I realize you know everything there is to know about aviation, but some times you need to do some research before making posts.

I dont think they're going after Executive Charters, they're going after corporate. There's a difference.:D
