Looks like about 57% of pilots voted yes for better pay and work rules with 75% participation.

I never understand how people don't take the time to vote on their compensation. Why do 25% say whatever happens happens.

57% of 75% is 42.75% in favor. Not exactly a resounding victory, but a win is a win.

My opinion of why people don't vote at some of these places:

chances are a large percentage of that 25% are young pilots who are more concerned with making themselves more marketable than contracts, they're there to get their multi-engine and move on.

That's why the commuters usually show very low voting registries
