Interview @ P.E.

Dad knows PT. I guess he's heading for People's Express because he's got an interview set up for me on March 19. Anybody Else gone? What to review?

big whoop...

What ever happened to putting coherent sentences together? Has society become that lazy that some people cannot even be bothered to type a complete sentence?

For real, that's not something I'd brag about, the dude is a monster... I'll just leave it at that.

Now how to finger fly a approach plate. Now the difference between V1 and V2 and that other letter in between I forget what it is but I think it is important. Be able to talk about dewpoint and temperature corelation. Be at least able to talk about angle of battle and critical attack speed. They will pull out a IFR chart so know that two. Don't worry about nowing dutie times or rest rules there not concerned about that. Pay is low to start but they will be growing fast and quick! Soon everyone will work there and you will have a quick upgrade. I'm in the April class. Everyone is very nice and will make you feel very relaxed and at eese. I can't wait to work for such a great group!

Yeah man I just talked to my buddy for ya. He was in the last interview group. He said they are real big on image. They want to make sure you can play the game. You have to wear the right interview attire or you have no chance.

Black thin Leather Tie. (It must be solid black, no piano keys or anything on it)
White Shirt
Black high top Reeboks with velcro straps.
Black parachute pants
Members Only jacket
Fold up Ferrari sunglasses.
Mullet haircut

Good luck man. I'd go there myself but I'm waiting on a call from Pan Am. Fingers crossed.

Seriously dude? People Express, PT? Is it that bad out there? I'd rather work at Subway.

FYP. Please Know how to spell. Normally I'm not the grammar police, but the errors are too many to ignore.

To the OP, good luck. This start up is doomed for failure. The East coast has plenty of capacity, and fuel is very expensive.

I thought it was funny Mr Big...am I the only one with a sarcasm detector and sense of humor on the thread?

apparently the spelling nazis did not see the need to correct "angle of battle" and "some letter between V1 and V2" And why the heck didn't anyone correct dutie??????

GlobeTreker 03-01-2012 10:46 AM

For a job you allegedly have to be somewhat intelligent for, there seems to be an abundant supply of damn fools willing to do it.

However, I have been informed by someone in another thread that the real problem in this industry is broke pilots who are unwilling to pay back training bonds to dirt bag operators. We simply must put a stop to this to save the industry. Yes... that was sarcasm
