CHQ Unical E-145 flying

Hey guys, just wondering how long this contract is for? I noticed none of the planes have been painted in new United colors so just curious if its sticking around.

What you see is what you get. Contract is ending. Planes are either being parked or occasionally being flown under charter.

Attrition maybe?

Killer51883 03-04-2012 07:36 AM

yeah attrition people are bailing out of this place as fast as they can

it will be much like the CRJ when that was winding down. They will still run classes for the 145, but just to replace upgrades. This company has roughly 800-900 FO's and of the bottom 200-300 most are on S5. So CHQ will have to do some replacing as the FO's upgrade. Also any contract we sign will have to remove the current FO seat lock and allow us red teams to bid off the airplane. CHQ will hire, just not as frequently as the other two for now.

What about their American contract...? How is it fairing through bk and when does it expire?

GoBlue 03-04-2012 02:49 PM

Contract is fine in bk...It's up in December, so it probably won't matter either way.

You guys sure about this? Timetables on United.com show CHQ 145s well into 2013....
