So, when will the crew and passengers of those affected flights get their checks from the FAA?

Good thing Pinnacle bought us or we'd have gone under a LONG time ago.

Is there any chance the crews can get into trouble?

They should, considering they violated FARs and never filed any ASAP.

Boy I hope you never screw up, because if you do, I'll be the first to throw you to the lions.

I actually had a scheduler ask me to go over 16 hours the other day. Tried to bargain with me saying they would give me 10 hours instead of 8 on the ground if I waived the 16hr limit. Things are getting bad when that happens. But I will bet you just about everything I own that if I did what they wanted me to do and something happened to us, I would be the only one to blame.

Isn't it funny hos somebody with NO License is always asking you to violate YOUR License like Their Name is also on YOUR license?? You'd be lucky THEY didn't turn you in just to make themselves look good..
It doesn't even matter What your FAA License is FOR Either!!

dingo222 03-11-2012 09:31 AM

just remember that the faa issued your certificates, not colgan. it's not for them to ask you to do anything that would cause you to lose them. They seem to forget that on a regular basis

Just what I was wondering. I always hear 'the man' talking about fines for the company and us getting part of the fine as well. (i.e. following through SIDA doors)

Most likely, as it is joint responsibility between the company and crews

sinsilvia666 03-13-2012 06:50 PM

unless the company changed showtimes, which they did - myself included, especially to reserve guys to extend them when we were short on crews back in summer 09 and 10

this is not easy to catch if you didnt print your pairings and the inability to see your old schedule after they change it.
