c5 VS RAH

We all know that c5 is not a great place to work, but unfortunately I've already been here for over a year.
Have the offer for RAH, just trying to decide if it's worth it to make this "lateral" move ...

I interviewed there as well. Nice people, but seems like movement is slow and you really don't read much positive on here about RAH (not that you see anything positive about us either).

If you've been here a year, you've been here just a hair longer than me. And you're getting semi-close to upgrade (though things have definitely slowed down). Might be worth hanging out, though your license will be on the rocks being a Captain at C5.

I'm walking away pretty soon for a career change, so if you decide to leave, all the best to you!

I'm a Feb '11 hire. I'm pretty sure the May upgrade class of 4 will include the 2 people that were senior to me in my class.
Everything is just getting worse here isn't it. Who knows if this place will even be around after the CPA is up next year....
What class were you in? I'll bet we know each other haha. EWR or CLE?

Ive heard that the CPA was renewed last year for 5yrs with the purchase of the -300's. A credible source also states that the leases on the -200's have also been renewed.

Look at it from Horizon's perspective...the airplanes are trashed now beyond belief. The chances of anyone besides a third world airline picking a few up is slim to none, much less all of them, so why not stick with the one domestic airline who will lease the whole lot?

There's also the rumor that there will be no more -300s because our maintenance department is too inept at maintaining the five that we have (everyone remember how spotless they were when they showed up?). So much so that United can't rely on them to schedule them anywhere.
