Flying the CAL side at colgan the rampers were very good with bags that I saw, in terms of not losing luggage.
United as well for the most part minus a trip I had a few weeks ago where 16 bags arrived late and they wouldnt put them on (last flight of the night, door was still open, and we were already past departure time) cause they wanted to get out on time. So I said we wernt leaving until they were put on, 20 min later bags reappear and off we go, complete with rear end clapping.
Same thing happened the next night only we didnt know about it until we landed and people were asking about bags (smh) idiots !

Eagle is the best @ one thing - losing bags.

Eagle lost more bags than United mainline last year, despite being significantly smaller. Luckily, the chart accounts for that in the bottom graph. And now United has hired them to bring their stellar performance to their customers too.

I'm sure Colgan is really bad too, though. Heck, all the regionals are bad . . . and AA.

United couldn't stand not being the industry leader in a category. With Eagle ground handling they will now lose more bags then ever.

I doubt we would ever do ual flying, but if i have learned one thing its that, when something makes no sense and other pilots try and explain why it wont happen, it kinda ends up happening. Just sayin.

Comair's 14-year Captains are going back to the right seat and they've furloughed almost everyone with less than 5 years on property.

With 15 more planes to "park", it won't be close for long.

ya not even close to Eagle, who right now has 6 year upgrades and over 600 on property hired in 2011.

"The new contracts include operations in Waco, College Station, Killeen/Fort Hood and Tyler, Texas, and Monroe, La.--airports that are already served by Eagle Ground Handling--as well as new operations for the American Eagle unit at Dallas Love Field, Del Rio and Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas, and Binghamton, N.Y."
I'm not sure about all of these locations but I can tell you that Beaumont is serverd exclusivly by Colgan. So if I understand this correctly Eagle would be opperating the ramp at a locations it doesn't even serve?

I think were missing the bigger question here which is that we don't even know whats going to happen to this flying? It's not supported by EAS and I havent seen any indication that other players like Silver are willing to move in at this time. Now routes like Killeen, Dallas Love ect... are a different stroy and they will likely be picked up by xjt/skw.
