What the F is wrong with these people? Cancel the hotel contract and find the closest ****hole without any regards to the contract...
I guess someone was jealous that the crews staying at the Embassy...

This thread reeks of whine. I know what you're talking about but most everyone else here probably won't. I'd take your gripe to the hotel committee or ALPA web board.

I take it they downgraded from an Embassy Suites to a Motel 6.

We now get to sleep in tents. The damn hotel is like 15-20 minutes from the ****ing beach and there is nothing around it. Got a long one there next week and I was looking forward to it. Now not so much if at all.

It really does suck though... whine granted, and by the way, ALPA sent out an email lamenting the same. My guess is the Wingate is gonna get a lotta negative love.

In reality, the company's actions indicate that they know our reps don't do anything about their violations so they just do whatever they want. Remember red arrow days? The company takes these weaklings about as seriously as we do.

That La Quinta is the ONLY hotel near the airport and most TRI overnights are short...Do you really want to drive another 15 mins. each way on a short overnight?
