Default Will RAH have a EWR, IAH and IAD base?

If so, what's taking so long to announce them? Do they think it'll be tougher to recrew FO's into a EWR base vs a DEN base? Might be a good plan.

Interesting idea, I know I would much rather be in DEN than EWR or IAH. So who knows maybe that is what they are doing! Doubtful though

EWR and IAH are the first and fourth largest metro areas in the country. No problem finding pilots from there.

Simply, out station basing is Republic's MO.

I doubt they will open bases there.

It was also doubtful that they'd be flying props. I guess we'll see.

Agree with jumppilot. I would say it's VERY unlikely they'll open bases at hubs. RAH has historically very rarely done that, outstation bases are their forte.

Colgan was the same way. PIT, ORF, ALB, BWI were all Q400 bases till Continental said no more.

They'll pobably need east coast bases to cover the EWR/IAD flying and probably a Texas base to cover IAH flying. PIT was mentioned but that alone seems like a long shot.

Continental had nothin to do with closing down out stations. MH was brought in and started to run it like a normal airline, not like Dot's.

1st I am not drankin anything since I do not work for RAH.

2nd Jumppilot I was just simply stating that to me DEN is a much more desirable place to live. I'd take that over EWR or IAH anyday, I don't care how big they are. Plus it was more of a joke than anything.

Moon wolf...grow up, seriously. Take your ADD meds and try to keep it on topic. Don't let your immature misgivings get in the way of a meaningful post.
