Based on the author's speculations in the article, I don't believe he knew anything about the regionals other than what he googled.

I don't think Comair will get any airplanes, unfortunately. Delta can't just cut 50-seaters. All 70 of those airplanes are headed for Skywest and ASA/ExpressJet. Per their contracts, Delta can trade 1 900 for 2/3 200s. |

I disagree, I figure it will be all 900's to replace the 200's. Plus if DL hires and flows happen at Compass, I don't think the training department train people fast enough for attrition and growth.

They have to give airplanes away to reduce 200s. How would they do this giving them to airlines that don't operate 200s? |
