Does SKW pay perdiem during training?

Does Skywest pay perdiem during training? If so is it calculated for the full month? Just trying to figure out how much money I need to save/borrow/steal before I get there. I understand its 60 hrs pay until completing IOE, which apparently is taking a long time right now?

Being that they pay for your hotel in SLC, the 60 hour guarantee isnt too bad while you're there. You shouldn't need a car there, the hotel van will take you to the training center and the grocery store. So there really is very little COL there. You should be in pretty good shape. Welcome to SkyW. good luck getting O'Hare.

thanks guys, Im looking forward to it. i was talking to my brother (Mesa) the other day and obviously his company shares the terminal with SKW in chicago, and he was telling me how youll walk through and see all the mesa crews looking all depressed and their uniforms just thrown on looking like they slept in them, and then you see all the SKW crews with smiles on their faces and professional looking, ironed uniforms and all. that was really awesome to hear i think i made a good choice...
