Go jets?
 

Hello
New to the airline world. What's the deal with go jet. Looks like a lot of growth etc. maybe not the best working conditions etc however looks like to me just starting out that most of the regionals are about the same. I re ad some hate mail towards the go jet guys? Is that true? Will working there effect your future jobs? Getting hired somewhe re else? Is it better to go to another with slower growth or smaller company more growth?

You are right, lots of hate mail. I suggest that you research the history of why Gojets was formed, and that will reveal the source of the hatred. Personally, I would not hire someone that worked for that company; the pilots there (other than United furloughs) are the ones that couldn't get hired any place else for whatever reason. If you find yourself having to talk yourself into reasons why you should take a job there, maybe it isn't such a great idea in the first place.

Yea but people should utilize the search function on the forum BEFORE creating a whole new thread about GoJet!

this isn't fun anymore because after all our creativity some mod deletes

I dont think you have to worry about hiring any gojet guys. Most of them are furloughed and have no interest in going to another regional. They guys I know that are there, are using them for currency.

If you enjoy working with people who failed out of other airline training programs, who would stab you in the back to get ahead and who have lowered the bar for the entire industry then altereGoJets is for you! And what's with this 'good place to go so I can leave' junk? That's what most everyone is doing with regional jobs!
