I had a giant wolf spider that somehow got on me while I was doing the walk around in PIT once. Didn't notice it crawling on me until pushback. I kinda yelped as I swatted it off me. The captain really thought I had lost my mind until he saw the thing crawling around on the control column, and then he yelled too. The tug driver stopped and was like, "You guys OK up there?".

Did an XNA turn a few months back, and came to find this guy walking by the hand mic.

Picked him up, walked him outside.

Then I found out it was a Wheel Bug, which has a bite that can take months to heal. Never felt so stupid. Good thing we have modern medicine, or I would've won a darwin award years ago.

Used to banner tow a few years ago in Foley, Alabama. Found this guy chilling out under our Citabria one afternoon. Our mechanic grabbed his tools and took care of it pretty quickly.
