Colgan Questions

hey guys, Got a call from Mr. Colgan a week ago after sending him my resume telling me to apply online which I had done. When I informed him of this he put me on hold and said he would pull it up and read it. After he did this he asked me what city I would be flying out of for the interview and explained the interview process to me. After this he said it was a pleasure talking to you and I said the same. That was IT. I sent a follow up email 3 days after to confirm he had received my information. Now it’s been a week and I've heard absolutely nothing back from him. Is this normal or did he not like something he heard during our conversation? I thought it went very well and consisted of him simply asking me for some information about my background, which is completely clean by the way. I'm trying to figure out why I haven't heard back. Most of what I have read seems to indicate that people are being offered an interview on the spot. I am way over their mins for total and multi time. Thanks for the help.

keep calling, they are pretty disorganized sometimes has little to do with you, I would'nt worry xjt is hiring like 40-60 a month come over here its a different world entirely

hey SAAB i agree XJT looks great I applied there about 2 weeks ago online....haven't heard anything yet, whats the time frame been on interviews lately? i'm just under 900 with 120 multi so i realize I still have a ways to go....

You have more than enough time for xjt, a lot of the guys in my class were 600/100 CFI's The call back is around 2-3 months, be patient, I would wait until they called you, Colgan will always be hiring cause people are always leaving there. I was there for 9 months then came over here, Colgan was great experience but if given the oppertunity I would probably skipped the Turbo-prop thing, although I don't regret it, so I dunno to each his own. With that time though you will get an interview here just be patient

Chuck emailed me back in August asking when i could start. I replied the same day saying asap, he wrote back and said thanks. I just got a call last friday to set up an interview. Took about 3 months for them to call, good luck to you im told its a decent place to work and you get to stay on the east coast which is im sure a big selling point.
