Max credit!

What was your highest credit in a month and what was the actual block? I'm setting a PR this month, but I want to find out if it's really all that rare. My best before this was 147.5 credit with only 76 actual block... this month is blowing it out of the water!

EDIT: Typically i'm between 75 and 100 like everyone else. I just played the game this month and had some open time fit together quite nicely.

SmitteyB 08-16-2012 08:15 PM

168 credit.
98.5 block.

Pre-contract Colgan.

Fly782 08-16-2012 08:20 PM

The highest I have seen from someone was 190 credit, not sure about block.

My record sucks! 123 credit, 70 something block.

hockeypilot44 08-16-2012 08:20 PM

125 credit
88 block
worked 18 days
felt like a ***** who lived at work

CaptainCarl 08-16-2012 08:31 PM

I've heard stories of guys doing upwards of 180 hours of credit per month. My personal record was 99 hours of block, no idea how much credit, and still managed 14 days off. Ah, those were the good ol' days

etflies 08-16-2012 08:47 PM

156 credit, 92 block.

While not a credit record, here is one I'm proud of from my first officer days:

94 hours credit
0 block

How? Bid with a checkairman, displaced the entire month, never reassigned.

sinsilvia666 08-16-2012 09:46 PM

102 or 103 credit
0 block

reserve capt in jan at colgan with a pc moved twice onto days off due to wx.

2 day trip, 10 hours block, 38 hours credit (after incentive, premium, and JA), which by itself made for 113 credit on my reserve line. But it started on Christmas Day at noon, back when scheduling was doing stupid incentives (e.g. 8 hours credit for 3.5 hour turn).

JetBlast77 08-17-2012 07:31 AM

When we used to have charter we had guys double dipping and crediting well into the 200s in a single month while only crediting in the mid 90s. Those were the days! We also had guys doing this who were TDYed to the west coast and agreeing to deadhead on their days off. Must be a lot to pay uncle sam!

Silver02ex 08-17-2012 07:43 PM

138 credit 85 block. Current Pinnacle contract. I kept getting bought off my trip and I picked up at 200%

DENpilot 08-17-2012 09:01 PM

118 hours at 200% pay plus
62 hours plus
462 hours per diem

So in actual numbers - 298 hours credit
73:35 block

I enjoyed that check until I saw how much Uncle Sam's cut was....

All this was made possible by rolled days, restored days, dropping flying that was picked up at 200%, picking up more flying at 200% on top of that, legality issues, lots of deadheading and a lot of luck.

Av8rking 08-17-2012 09:48 PM

By bidding long call as a senior pilot at Comair in 2009, I was able to credit 225 hours (3 months gaurantee) while only working 1 leg for a total block of 1.8 hours! I win!

lolwut 08-18-2012 07:26 AM

Credit: 200+
Block: 0-50.
When: Every month
Who: Certain ALPA leadership on fulltime buy.

ExperimentalAB 08-18-2012 10:16 PM

140.2 Credit, 99.5 Block. Thought I rocked it but apparently y'all are pretty good!

lakehouse 08-19-2012 07:32 AM

this should include days off, because if I went down to 8 days off I could do some insane credit, like this month I could break 200, esp with how often my sched gets messed up at Eagle, and we have original block guarantee for all our trips totaled up, including after trades...OR...what actually we fly, or 72 hours, whichever is most.

Crism 08-19-2012 04:55 PM

129:17 credit
98:20 block

Nothing other than straight pay here at Republic. None of this 100%+ stuff unfortunately.

Nope. Work on a day off? Straight pay and a minimum of 4 hours over guarantee. Still at $22.95/hr if you're a first year FO.

Sweet Jesus... Hurry up and get released so you guys can walk out on the retards that run RAH.

groovinaviator 08-30-2012 01:20 PM

August total is in...

86 hours block
185 hours credit... Time to pay the tax man :(

tom14cat14 08-30-2012 02:19 PM

I think i hit 98 once Man did that month suck. Normally i am at min which is great because I normally work 20 hours or less a month. I have 40 years left of doing this so I try to work as little as possible when i am at my lowest pay of my career.

MatchPoint 08-30-2012 02:22 PM

198 credit with 74 block. For the entire year of 2007 I credited 1529 hours and blocked 867.

smackahoCEO 08-30-2012 07:59 PM

Whoring yourself out at Awac on reserve..... WINNING.

Enjoy a few days off man, you work too hard. After a little while you're working for the tax man.

Not worth "FUPM" when you have 7 days off in a 31 day month my man.

Just plain FU.

I don't pull that stuff anymore.. That was only 1st year pay stuff. I can hold 12-15 days off in DCA now. Definitely agree it's much more enjoyable.

USC328 08-31-2012 06:09 AM

183 hrs credit, but forget the block. OO (ASE trips) Out of 15 standups, I flew 3. I was displaced off of 11 with 100% pay, 1 cancelled at 100% pay and then I'd fly another standup on the same nights from swapboard.

Best income month was when I upgraded. OO was offering JRM CA pay to fly right seat while waiting for CA IOE, on top of CA guarantee of 75 hrs. Made $13,082 gross that month.

It's always nice to hear about junior people being able to make JRM pay that's not available to those that are senior...

rcfd13 09-01-2012 01:58 AM

74 credit.. They don't like letting us break reserve guarantee and I can't hold a line..

WIFlyer 09-01-2012 07:27 AM

I thought I was working it to get 120 but seeing some of you pros out there puts me to shame! Nothing against you guys for doing it but if I were a manager I would nip this in the bud to contain costs.
