Eagle to hire 400
 

How is it possible that Eagle will hire 400 next year when others are getting connection feed from AMR? Is there a chance that Eagle will actually gain aircraft all at the expense of AA pilot’s jobs? I guess we know what was in the NDA that Tony G signed and why the MEC is pushing a TA so hard.

Got an email from Eagle today informing me that my application would be reviewed in two days. Told me to log in to airline apps and ensure everything was correct and updated.

Picking up more mainline flying.

Wow... the famous "Two day" email. Haven't heard about that one for a while. Guess things are getting real.

Expect an email about setting up an interview shortly.

Also, what were your times/experience? Prior 121/135? Just curious to see what is triggering the "two day" emails.

No additional long-term mainline changes are imminent beyond that already planned. His post is just his usual anti-AA flame bait. Have a heart for the poor old guy..............it's really all he has left. ;)

TT: 1776, all multi, 650 PIC, ATP, all military time.

Obviously management has the solution to the pilot shortage at AA, grow the regionals.

When the pilot shortage finally arrives, it will come back to haunt them. They wont have any problem bringing pilots to AA, but seeding the Eagle network at the bottom in a few years will be all but next to impossible.

Patiently waiting for that day and believe me, the solution for them won't come cheap. :D

If you haven't already, put your app with Delta. Till they hire I guess it won't hurt to get 121 time as well. Either way good luck.
