Default PSA info?

Does anyone know if new hires at PSA have to sign a training contract? Also what are the junior bases for PSA?

No training contract at PSA. Dayton, OH is currently most junior base.

How long can one expect to be on reserve with PSA? How long to upgrade? Thanks for any answers you can give.

Right now the upgrade is 4 years...
Reserve anywhere from none to 6 months (as a newhire)
Some captains have been on reserve for 3 years (but it's like musical chairs, you better be where you want to be when the music stops.)
DAY is the Junior base but most people have been able to bid out the next bid (see above "musical chairs" info) PHL.
Good Luck,

Are you really a PSA Chief Pilot? I just wondered because I am in the process of putting my application in with PSA and I am REALLY interested in working there. I live not far from Dayton, so it would be a great place for me. I was also wondering if you know anything about how the US Airways and America West merger is going to affect PSA. Thanks for the info!
