My best wishes to all the Comair pilots. I feel for you.

Sorry guys, one of the good ones is gone today. First round is on me if you ever make it to SAN, and if you need any help job-wise don't hesitate to ask.
|
Speaking of SAN, did they ever rebuild KC's Barbq?
|
To the Comair Pilot Group:
You fought like hell to keep the ship afloat. You should be proud of the job you guys did, and the struggles you persevered. I wish all of you the best of luck. |

Comair Pilots
Good luck, guys. Just know that a lot of us out there are thinking of you
|
This is truly the end of an era!!! Thank You Comair for giving me a love for Concourse C! I feel like I have spent 15 years there, and will forever appreciate the opportunity!!!
|
Hope you find a nice patch of grass to make a three point landing in, all the best
|
It was a pleasure being a Comair pilot (oct 07-nov08). Thanks for the memories.
|
Agreed, it was an honor to have worked there (99-08) and flown with some great pilots. Best of luck to all of you and I hope you find something even better. :)

Good Luck!
Good Luck Comair pilots!
I remember when I first came to CVG in '99... I speak from the heart (and from experience) as a former DHL pilot who lived the same nightmare... Things will get better! Rely on your friends and family, reach out to each other and don't let anyone slip! Stay connected and focus on your future. If anyone needs a kind word or some encouragement, please PM me and I will try to help! No one walks alone, others have been through this and can help! Blue sky and tailwinds! Johnny |
Thanks to everyone.
To all my Comair brothers and sisters, you all will be missed dearly. Please be good.......... |
I appreciate the jumpseats and always welcomed you on ours. As a former regional pilot Comair was the one to look up to and aspire to be like. Good luck in your future endeavors and God bless.
|
CVG will never be the same...
Good luck, stand tall, look fwd.
|
Walking around DTW today and it has an erie feel to it; no more crusty old Comair pilots. I've had nothing but respect for you guys over the years and you you were truly a class act pilot group.
I hope the end of Comair is a new and better beginning for you all. |
Best of luck to all at CMR.
We work in a stupid industry. |
Good luck to the CMR pilots.
|
Thank you Comair pilots for all the jumpseats for the past 17 years. Commuting to CVG was always a pleasure with you folks at the helm. Best of luck to all those affected by this horrible chain of events. As a former DHL puke I can tell you that things WILL get better, it's just going to take some time.
|
Thanks for all the kind words and support. I spent the last 26 years at Comair, it is a sad day indeed.
|
Best of luck to all involved from myself and Ally.
No flyby ? |
Good Show Gents (and Ladies)!
The people of Comair can hold their heads high knowing they provided good service to their passengers and a good place to work for many years. I still remember the jubilation industry wide when your strike was settled and you had a REAL contract. I had gladly paid the Strike Assessments even as a Saab FO, and the thought of taking the Regional Industry "up" was beyond many's wildest dreams. Sadly, by thinking that you were real pilots flying real airplanes with real passengers, you invoked the ire of the Harvard MBA crowd, and they have forever changed the business model to ensure it never happens again. In the process they have also ensured that any one who has been here long enough to know the ropes now has a target on their backs and is subject to the same demise unless they continue racing to new lows. I too have lost a flying job due to closure and I can say that I was hurt and angry. In time I was able to see that it actually was the best thing for me- it got me moving. Use this as a time to make life for yourselves and your families better, and look back only occasionally, with fond memories. GOOD SHOW! |
I had a blast flying with each and every one of you! I hope to see you all at the next airline!

Comair Sun Screens
Whoever had those "Comair" CRJ Windshield Sunscreens on his car in the CVG parking lot back in '05 has some museum pieces now.
