PNCL.... long time.....
People,
I need your advice. I have had an interview with PNCL, last tuesday (Oct 31st). Have yet to hear anything nor get the good ol' letter..... Have tried leaving multiple VMs on the HR's person voicemail with no luck. What do you think? -schone |
I was told the day of the interview that I was hired. But I dont think that is standard procedures with Pinnacle. I say sit tight for another week and see if they call or send you the "letter." If you don't hear anything, just give HR a call.

Rumors have been floating around on this site (and others) that the hiring party at Pinch-a-nickel is over for the foreseeable future. I think someone even said that they sent an interview group home after they got to MEM and told them "sorry, no more interviews". To be honest, the HR department over there is such a cluster******* I am willing to bet that they don't even know whats going on with hiring. I would sit tight and in the meantime keep applying and interviewing. There are much better places to work than Pineapple.
And jdr, he already said that he had called HR several times. |

Opps...It would help if I read his post all the way through. |
If you did not get a letter in the mail within the first 7 business days you can assume you are hired (better said- in the pool). When I interviewed in august I heard NOTHING for 2 and a 1/2 weeks, then I got a call for a class date. Just sit tight, no news is good news in this case. As far as pncl's future- who knows. Many classes have been put off, then restarted. Just sit it out and in the mean time apply to others.

Bunch of people just got hired at UND today for pinnacle. Some have a class date starting on monday. Sounds like hiring is picking up and I couldnt imagine why people arent jumping at the bit to work for 19 an hour. I hope you sense my sarcasm.

First off from what I understand at most airlines it is not uncommon to wait about two to three weeks to hear from a HR dept. after an interview. So my advice is just be patient for another week or so and wait to hear. If two weeks go by and nothing then start calling again. As for people comming here to work for $21/hr which is the first year pay. Well the simple answer is it is a place to get the multi-jet 121 time that you need to move up and on in the world... bottom line a steping stone.
