Once again the FAA fines Pinnacle for poor MX

If Pinnacle could get their act together, then it could pay the pilots competitive wages. But since they continuously screw up, they need deep paycuts to cover all these fines!! Here goes yet ANOTHER quarter million wasted. |

BK only erases debt incurred PRIOR to the BK date, anything incurred after the BK filing must be paid. And BK cannot eliminate everything...taxes and most criminal fines would have to be paid as well as some civil judgements. I'm not sure where FAA fines fall in the spectrum but if I had to guess I suspect they can't be washed away. Otherwise nobody would do ANY business with an entity in BK proceedings...every pilot would have to pay cash for fuel at every outstation. |

Halfway to STX the flight received an ACARS to return to ATL. Crew asked why, told we will discuss on ground. Crew threatened to return to MIA unless told what was going on. Issue with the engine swap in TYS the night before- parts were found left off after the aircraft had operated TYS-ATL and just before being handed off to Havana center.
I'm sure ASAP will take care of it! |
