Time for a new Pope

Does anyone else find it ironic that when the Catholics choose a new Pope they lock themselves in a room and don't come out til they got a new one yet it takes the better half of a decade to get a new contract at some regionals? I'm not a Catholic but ALPA needs to take a lesson from them.

If you took a vow of poverty, I'm sure the process would move quickly.

Making the decision to be a regional pilot is a vow of poverty.

Does the Pope need 1500 hours and a written exam, or does he get an exemption?

I'm pretty sure its your management, not ALPA, that likes to drag negotiations on for years and years. I am Catholic, and I hope that if ALPA was to learn anything from the Church, it would be the folly of protecting the bureaucracy at the expense of the well-being of the flock.
