EAGLE ORD CP Headed over to AA
I've always appreciated the even keeled no-nonsense approach from the ORD CP. Whenever I needed his backing, he was there to support me, and I have nothing but good wishes for his future career at AA. Thank you FL for your time and service as the ORD ACP and CP.

:rolleyes:Whoopty doo!
|
You couldnt just tell this to him in person?
|
He certainly helped me out getting time off for my wedding and honeymoon.
|
Yawn.......
|
why is this news, what am I missing
|
Because he has been in the office for over 6 years and always stated he won't leave eagle. He commented he's an eagle lifer, never spoke of interst of going to AA.
I think the OP is hinting to the idea that if "he" is leaving, then **** is about to go down here. If that isn't what the OP was implying, than that's what i'm implying. I think it is a great indication of what is coming down th pipe. Best boss one could ever ask for. |
ok.... so who cares

I had a lengthy conversation with him late last year, he mentioned that he was unsure if he was going or not, he said it would be hard leaving what he had for uncertainty. He has family in Jersey, he has roots out east and it could actually work for him. Eagle was informed that over half the base here in ORD would be out-soured and the future seems darker here than AA. He could know something, or he might now but if you look at how things are right now it seems like he would be making the right choice.
|
I was about to say. He wasn't sure last yr. Now he is sure, and going. Original op. Just spewing unknown facts. Anyways, could you imagine if Mourine, or Eric took over.
|
Remember, management is not your friend, now matter how"nice" the are....
Tailwinds to him! |
EAGLE ORD CP Headed over to AA
makes you wonder if he knows something we don't...
|
did you not just say 1/2 of ord closing, (taken by someone else RAH).
LAX Gone, DFW started, and one more base coming foreclose or similar to ORD as the union ord capt rep has said. |
Great guy. Hate to see him go.
|
Frank the f f. Biggest company tool around.

Any word on what percentage of the 247 are going to AA? FL is number 203 on the most recent seniority list. If he is going in March does that mean they only have at most 44 more AE guys with AA seniority numbers(247-203=44)?

They've only called 15 guys so far is what we have gathered, out of those guys 7-8 have said yes while 2 are undecided. They have a few more days to actually make the call but so far it seem like 50% of the guys are going but we won't know until they officially accept or decline and they have a few more days before the deadline.

Thanks. Are the 247 the top 247 on the seniority list or are they scattered throughout the top?

Actually he is not at Eagle, he flowed to AA 2 years ago! I did not answer your question correctly earlier, you asked in the 240ish guys that have the option to flow are the top of the seniority list at AE and actually they are not, they are in the top 500 spots.
