20k/year or not, I'd rather have fun at work than sit behind a desk... ;)

Time and Date stamp were on the video and the FO called ground with the flight number. Pretty easy to trace at that point.

It's a "critical phase of flight" violation. Below 10,000 feet, not in cruise we are supposed to be working.

Nevermind. St. George's runway is 16/34.

That video does for airline pilots what CSI does for cops. It makes the job look awesome. We all know it's not always like that, but for some jobs it's never like that. You guys are very lucky.

I agree that we are a lucky bunch. Beyond all the BS of the industry, what we actually get to do on a day to day basis most people could only dream of doing. The sights, the sounds and the ever changing views throughout our workday should never be taken for granted because one day when we can't do this anymore, we will miss it!

The saying, "you don't know what you have until its gone" really means something amonst pilots. So one day when you are just ****ed at the whole airline industry, take a minute while your sipping on your cup of coffee at 30+ thousand feet, look out the windshield, take in the beautiful view, and realize how lucky you are to be sitting where you are at that particular point in time doing what you are doing.

And when you are all done doing that............get yourself ready for the approach!
