Anyone have an opinion if this is just market turbulence or is something brewing behind the scenes ?

No idea, but I think the sale of Frontier is imminent and could be the cause.

More importantly, why did I get an email from Ionosphere Capital about this?

ooor its airline stock and it goes up and down like crazy... and its republic... a sadistic and cheap regional airline.

because they are long term following a model close to pinnacle. Wait till they buy AMR EGL for some sucker deal from USAIR/AA.

It just went up over 100% in the last 3 months and then goes down 9%...not a big deal.

Or it is short term investors like me selling off a stock that many believe to have peaked. Almost $17,000 in cap gains in 4 months. I'm not complaining 😉. Of course, now I have to give Obama his share... Ugh!!
