Cut plan for Eagle

No mention of fleet plan.

American Eagle's Fleet Costs Overhauled

The writing is on the wall......

buddies8 04-19-2013 04:16 PM

actually we all knew that except the alpa mec and cronies saying no it aint so.
all 134's will be gone by end of year. 140's up in air no pun, 145's are here for at least 8 years more. that is the current fleet plan for l-eagle subjet to change for more bad news.

RJ Pilot 04-19-2013 04:27 PM

Agreed. That's the fleet plan right there. Can those junk jets last 8more years?

lakehouse 04-19-2013 05:10 PM

so take the 145s 8years, 140s lets just throw out there, say 3 years, and CRJs for 10 years. Now assume the 824 goes over 4 years, and do 50% of those to flow. Based on that math, what are we really looking at. Thats the future of this company. Based on all this, is this a good place to go?

buddies8 04-19-2013 05:25 PM

properly eagle staffed

I think you answered your own question. In the end, movement really wont matter much because of parking frames with NO replacements or growth.

Is there anything from stopping AMR from sending the CRJ's over to another carrier?

buddies8 04-20-2013 05:49 AM

ummmmmm, NO

The Chow 04-20-2013 05:51 AM

Then we as L-Eagle shouldn't be so confident that those 47 CR7's are going to stay. Everyfreakinbody operates them.

No, Team Tony gave that away. Cant believe that people still cheer for that group of thugs.

buddies8 04-20-2013 06:02 AM

actually they offered to give it away but the pilots at eagle voted to give away all protection in the change of scope for the Preferential Hiring at AA in 2011. What a bunch of losers at eagle. and they talk about gojets, tsa and mesa.

The amount of stupidity at eagle with the pilots is amazing. if they fart all there brain cells are gone.

The eagle line pilots did not vote for this. The union reps who are eagle pilots made this decision without consulting the members. There was a grievance and management offered the flow to AA as a remedy to the TSA grievance. The union agreed, then AMR transferred the airplanes to AA in exchange of AA assuming all the debt that eagle had with regards to airplanes. AA did this as Eagle had been "reported" as a profitable entity and there could have been issues when restructuring the leases compared to AA who was being reported as an unprofitable company. The divestures was a way to hide the transfer of debt, this came up in the BK process and AMR took care of it under the table.

The two of you are sticking, this industry has lost its luster and Eagle is not what it used to be. The company is violating the contract and we are shrinking but you guys should give unbiased information to the newer people instead of your opinionated pathetic doom and gloom blab!

There are only X number of pilots to go around. Why would you want the growth to be at a regional?

No level headed regional pilot wants to see growth at regional level. Unless its "my" regional that's growing.
