Default RJET - what does the future hold ?

Anybody care to crystal-ball the future of Republic, from a "business standpoint." I am not talking bad mouthing pay or contracts, etc, but from a "how bright does their future look" standpoint, how do they look ?

My opinion is they have operations spread across enough brands to somewhat protect them if one particular brand looses customers.

Thanks

Stock is at $10 and I may purchase some.

Pretty vague question and you're gonna get even more vague answers.

Financially, they're fine and will be a much better performer when F9 is sold. The company will continue to grow, but that won't come until we get a new contract in 2037. We have an additional 50 options with AA for new 175's and most people fully expect those to be exercised. Other than that, who knows. I wouldn't touch the stock at $10.

Ask Forbes about that one. Nobody on here is a bean counter.

Republic cant even man 24 Q400s let alone another 47 Ejets. recruiters are desperate...lol Bedford knows he cant do anything till labor is resolved. Too bad the union is completely useless. Need to replace them.

They have 50 options with Embraer for additional planes. Not 50 options with AA for additional flying.

Also remember that with the new AA I think RAH is probably beyond the scope margin after the merger is complete.

All of the numbers can line up, but if your workforce hates you, they'll find ways to make the operation less profitable/on time/whatever hurts most.

You'd be better off shorting the stock...

Well folks, as if the writing wasn't already on the wall. Effective 9/1/13, RAH will close the DEN Ejet base for the Republic cert. Displacements to start up the AA flying out of ORD. The DEN Q base will not be affected. Time to update the Teamsters Local 357 page to include this base closing. With this closure, I think we have a taker for F9. The fat lady is gargling in the bathroom as I type. Good luck to those impacted, it was a pretty senor base.
