Default Expressjet 2013/2014 Contract

We have a TA.

Does someone have details on ANYTHING?

If not, when can we expect details?

I have heard one rumor from one person kinda in the know that we will have frozen wages for 2 years and then a wage reduction after that to match Compass, GoJet, etc...

I have heard if the TA is not passed, then management will get rid of all 50 seat flying.

But I'm probably dead wrong...

The only thing for certain is that there will be fear grenades. Many of them.

I would be pleasantly surprised if the pilot group doesn't fall for them, however. Pilots are a jumpy and frightful bunch.

Exhibit A: PSA.

No my friend,

Exhibit A was Pinnacle who drove a huge dagger into the heart of our industry.
Exhibit B is PSA who just followed suit and pushed it in deeper.

Now that they've set the precedence regional pilots everywhere are under attack to join in on what Pinnacle and PSA started. Because of them the best we can now hope for is status quo……..

Correct me if I am wrong I thought Comair took pay cuts trying to save their airline.

I'm not defending pinnacle but they voted for concessions under the cloud of bankruptcy. Psa scum sold out for the potential of some shiny new jets to a very profitable company. Huge dif in my book. Both bad but psa is the real sleaze here.

While I don't like what Pinnacle did, they were under bankruptcy and in a far worse position than PSA.

PSA had no reason to vote on anything, let alone a huge concessionary contract. There is no excuse for what PSA did and it will ultimately hurt the entire industry...not just them.

Case and point: Now Xjet/ASA is being dragged down. As always I hope they make a stand the way Eagle did. I'm not holding out hope. Like I mentioned before, pilots are easily scared.

I'll agree the Pinnacle contract is a raw deal. I work under it. Those were a different set of circumstances then PSA and now yourself. I'm pretty sure you are not in bankruptcy with certain liquidation looming. As a matter of fact, I believe your company is still making money, just not enough for your managers. Your hate is misdirected, but never-the-less warranted. You now have a chance at removing the "dagger that we Pinnacle and PSA pilots put through your career." Will you?

On a side note, there was zero support for Pinnacle pilots during our process. Not one group of other pilots were willing to help us out. All you did was threaten and accuse. I guarantee you all of us would have voted that down had we been accepted to your airline with longevity as far as bidding power goes, but alas, we were expected to fall on our swords so you could make a few extra bucks an hour. Reminds me of the guy who drank the King's wine to make sure it wasn't poisoned.
