You're screwed!!! Jesus guys, there are about a billion of you guys applying and some stand out more than others. Just sit tight and keep updating and they will get to you. If you have 600/100and think you deserve something, you better something ELSE that makes you stand out.

He had 950/200 or so.

Add another to the list, who had about 900/295 and he got a response after 12 days.

Add another to the list, who had about 1040.7/146.7 and took 12 days.

That doesn't give any indication as to whether or not they are going to get hired (but the first did) however it does give an idea of what the response time is becoming, for some at least.

You're not really required to memorize the flows for day one. But know them before you get into the FTD. Week one is easy enough for you to really concentrate on your flows and get them down. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn, I reccomend going down the the crew room on the first floor and sit in the paper tiger for a few hours on the weekends. People say to take the first weekend off to go home, and stay on the other three... I did the opposite, and it worked pretty well for me.

As for limitations, try to review them while youre doing flows- and you'll see they'll be memorized in no time. Another good idea is to toss a baseball back and forth with your roommate while reciting limitations and memory items. That's what I did... got through without failing any gates, tests or checkrides.

One did, one didn't, and one doesn't think he did.

As for limitations, I don't see anything in the white binder that tells us the limitations. There is a page of the ones we have to memorize but it is a fill in the blank page. Do we not get the actual answers to these until training when we get the manual? For this reason it appears that flows are the only thing we can start memorizing prior to day 1. If anyone see's something I don't, please let me know :)

Hey guys,

I just got an email invitation to interview i think either next week or the 27th at express jet. For those of you who starting class on the 18th what was the interview like? Was there a sim or anything like that?

Are you guys submitting resumes via www.expressjet.com or sending them in via snail mail?

That copy and paste deal on the website just butchers my resume.

Flows prior to day 1. Manuals come within the first couple days. Then start looking at limitations and memory items. But these should be pretty well ingrained before systems (1 week). If you fall behind on this stuff before systems, you are going to be in a world of hurt because systems is information non-stop for 8-10 days. Get a good feel for the flows, what you are doing and what order and when. Once you learn the systems it will all make sense.

As far as I know they will only accept applications via their website. I know its rough on the resume but you have to take the time and reconstruct it in the resume box on their website. As for the interview, go to www.aviationinterviews.com there are a million experiences including my own on there from the last 2 weeks of interviews. Study that like whoa and your gold.
