American Eagle begins service to five new cities Monday August 1, 4:01 pm ET American Eagle began jet services in five new markets Monday. American Eagle, a unit of Fort Worth-based AMR Corp. (NYSE: AMR - News), said it has begun operating one daily flight each from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Chattanooga, Tenn.; Rochester, N.Y.; and Syracuse, N.Y. The airline also will operate one daily flight each to Dayton, Ohio and Greensboro, N.C., from Miami International Airport. American Eagle operates more than 1,700 daily flights to more than 140 cities in the United States, Canada, the Bahamas, Mexico and the Caribbean. Web site: www.aa.com.
