I Have Figured It Out!!!
Mesaba will get 36 CRJ 900's Compass will get the minimum amount of 170's before they can be sold and then they will be sold to Pinnacle and there is pinnacle's second certificate. Pinnacle will be all 50 seat jets as they don't have a contract and management will milk the negotiations for years to continue getting the cheap 50 seat rates out of the pilot group, but they will also have an airline with all 70 seat embs, COMPASS! They will then use the cheap rates of compass (or pinnacle 2) to whipsaw mesaba for 70 seat flying and grow like crazy.
|
And the SAAB 340s will go to Colgan
|
Then mesa and go jets unite and come in and create a third certificate which will allow all freshman at ERAU currently enrolled with a private pilot certificate to be hired on as street captains (with a special waiver from the faa of course) while the current captains from the soon defunct mesaba will be downgraded to FO's and FA's on a merit based system. They will also vote and approve a TA that allows them to work 30 days on 3 off, to include no less than 17 nights of sleeping in the aircraft. Cots will be provided for rental. They will also begin seeking the feasibility of flying in Alaska, where they will harpon the routes of PenAir and Alaska Airways by offering non stop flights for 20 round trip. Sounds sick to think about it, but it just outrageous enough that it just could be.

in solidarity, a FO working for a better profession |
glad to see you are so serious in life that you cant take a joke. You must be working on your second ulcer. In all reality if you think that there isnt someone in management that would love to see that happen then you need to talk a good look at reality. And cant you see that maybe ALPA is part of the problem. You probably cant, so just join the line of lemmings as they march off to the bottom.

i know good humor when i see it and your post just wasn't funny.

What's funny is that you call yourself "nwa757" but your current position is CL65 FO! Are you upset because you are an ERAU Grad?

Keep in mind that the Mesa pilots have a BS contract so that freedom airlines did not become a GoJet. We accepted the lessor of two evils, that seems to get over looked. happy holidays all |
I was grouping the management aspect together not the pilot groups.
