Cancellation pay per airline...

What does each airline have in regards to cx pay? Line guarantee, trip guarantee, leg by leg, et. I'm just curious what my wonderful nc looked at when agreeing to a TA.

Psa- by leg. If reassigned, better of the two flights.

BlueMoon 02-14-2014 10:47 AM

Cpz has trip guarantee.

Skywest is the same.

Endeavor Air:

1. Except for a reserve Pilot, a Pilot not otherwise reassigned will be credited one hundred percent (100%) of the applicable flight pay rate for the Leg Values of all flights that are scheduled but subsequently canceled or removed from the Pilot’s schedule on a leg-by-leg basis for any reason.

I believe just about everyone has cx pay except for Gojet and Republic.

I really hope their new TA has cx pay. I can't even imagine how much $ you'd lose after a couple days like we just had with the snow.

The "rumor" is trip guarantee. If true, my vote is already no.

BTpilot 02-14-2014 02:32 PM

Whiskey. By leg. Filler

Eagle
Minimum Guarantee, Line guarantee, Trip Guarantee, Reassignment guarantee (higher of sched/actual), Transition conflict guarantee, trng guarantee, opentime on top of line guarantee, OT cancells we get straight pay, we fly OT it is premium pay (20%) if you can call that premium. all without having to volunteer to make up for any cancellations and American Airlines has neither of the above except minimum guarantee.

TSA: full cancellation pay on a leg by leg basis

SMACFUM 02-14-2014 06:09 PM

Sorry......newbie question......Why is leg CX pay better than trip CX pay?

Let's say your day is originally worth 4 hrs. One leg gets cx that was worth 1 hr, now you're at 3. You over block later by 30 mins. Still only getting paid 4 hrs for the day. On leg by leg bases you'd see your over block go on top of original day, so you'd be at 4:30 for the day, not 4.

Seriously? What do you expect? All Delta has is trip guarantee. Most majors only have trip guarantee. You're at a regional. Maybe you need to re-evaluate your position. I could see voting no unless your trip rig is 3.5/1 or duty rig is 2/1, but no for trip guarantee is asinine. It's a hell of a lot better than you have now and it is industry standard.

Pff, If Hulas can do it, any other regional can do it.
