Default Ohana

Got called for a phone interview the other day, for what I assumed is a PIC position since they wanted me to verify I meet PIC minimums, anyone else done one lately? Any insights on that operation? They ok with part timers or full timers only?

I know it's run by Empire, but there's a thick fence up and HAL has a lot of input on hiring.

Different bennies and pay on Ohana side as far as I can tell as well.

Turned it down with over 7k TT as the pay and bennies were abhorrent especially in HNL. 46k to start with less than 1.6k a year raise. I took a pass and remained furloughed. Great job if youre a trust fund kid or have a pension coming in.

46k doesn't sound like the absolute worst if you don't have a mortgage. I wouldn't mind the ATR time and rating for contract work... Maybe they take part timers... In which case I don't care about the rate.

Good to know your standards are just above "the absolute worst"...

Care to share the going rates for ATR PICs at other regional operators, you might find that there's a big gap between the absolute worst and 46.

Anyway back to what my main question was... Anyone done the phone interview and do they take part timers?

Why should I part timer get 46K?
