Regional hiring
 

I would like to know real numbers from guys/gals having recently been at the school house at any/all regionals how big your new hire class sizes are? There is a lot of bs out there that people are latching onto. When I was in the school house in January for recurrent there was a class of 2 going at Eagle, so I'm interested to know who exactly has people "flooding" in the doors as places are proclaiming. Applications don't mean crap, butts in seats do.

PSA has hired over 120 this year, last class had 23.

xjt on the crj side. we have 2 classes every month. class of jan 21st - 8, 3rd feb - 9, 17th feb - 14 or 16 not sure, 1st march-10. so about 18-25 ppl every month. a bigger no on erj side.

I think eagle may be the only one truly struggling to be honest.

TSA is running classes of "as many as we can get" every month. Indefinitely. There's definitely no flood of applicants here.

You don't really think this do you? If so you are wrong, apply to a few regionals and see what happens. Your email inbox and phone will light up within days, places will actively recruit you. You will have a job within weeks. If that isn't a sign of an industry in peril I don't know what is.

Was just offered a 4/21 class and never interviewed. Just a voice mail.

Which airline? Someone said they got an unsolicited offer from Mesa like that not too long ago.
