Eagle and Republic are going to be angry! :P

TheFly 04-03-2014 12:22 PM

That's like 6 months of 1st year pay!

Or 12 months if you're a laker!

This is Bull****! Management offered a piece of **** LOA, we vote it down and now they offer 12k signing bonus! ***! So what happens to the pilots on property? We're still bailing...When is management going to realize that?

MEMbrain 04-03-2014 12:55 PM

Can you quit and immediately reapply and get the signing bonus?

ClarenceOver 04-03-2014 01:04 PM

I just found out its distributed over 2 years so technically its only a 6 thousand dollar bonus in comparison to eagle and republic.

Silver offers $12,000 signing bonus

$24/hr 1st + $$26/hr 2nd year + $12,000 signing bonus = about $62,000 if, and only if, you stay for 2 years. That's an average of only $31,000/yr. I don't think they'll be coming in droves for this.

Gangsta 04-03-2014 03:57 PM

I think the payout is $3,000 at completion of training, $3,000 at completion of the first year, and $6,000 at the completion of 2 years of service.

Exactly! You could make the same amount at C5 after 2 years of service. Improvements to the current contract is the best way to attract new pilots (absolutely no concessions!)
