Study, study, study!
Once you begin Sim training, Chair-fly the profiles over and over (and over). Forget about the big numbers you're seeing on the PFD and just fly the profiles (speed and rate of climb will initially astound you if you've been a GA-only flyer). Think ahead. Stay ahead. Work on this stuff and you'll be fine. |
I suggest reading:
-"Everything explained for the professional pilot" http://www.amazon.com/Everything-Exp...essional+pilot -"the turbine pilot's flight manual" http://www.amazon.com/The-Turbine-Pi...+pilots+manual Those two books are excellent. They explain turbine theory, advanced systems, and obscure stuff like reduced takeoff minimums. Make sure you read/brief/fly an approach! |
