What is the average upgrade time at your airline? Do you see it remaining stable or getting longer or shorter over the next five years? Thank you!

Envoy, expressjet, republic, Skywest, and endevour make up 80%+ of all regional flying and pilots! they all have a most jr captain doh of 06-08 mainly almost all mid 07. That sure tell you a lot of the shape of the industry. This right here is why the turbine pic is being overlooked at many majors and LCc.
All analysts are pointing to a major regional consolidation round starting up, including more rounds of ch11.
Everything going on now was completely different a year ago and will be different in a year. Mesa and psa are the flavor of the week right now.
Ask the guys who picked republic in 2013 how that worked out? Or how everyone was going to eagle colgan pinnacle and expressjet in 2011.
Welcome to the suck.

New hire to Endeavor would upgrade in about two years. While most would consider this way too optimistic people forget that upgrades are feast or famine. When they start, especially in the current environment, it will be like an opening of the floodgates. For those interested in Endeavor with the new EtD program you would probably be sitting in class at Delta by fall of 2018 if you start at Endeavor within the next few weeks. This being said brace for the insults and overdose of pessimism my post is going to generate.
