AFAIK, there are only 2 of them in the US, both now owned by a NASCAR team.

There were only about 60 ever made. It was timed badly and had a lot of CG problems for the first year of service, forcing SAAB to introduce Fly-By-Wire controls for the elevator and rudder.

RJs started coming out about the same time.

I think the Dash 8 Q400 might be faster, or about the same speed. And it carries more passengers.

Any Q400 drivers out there?
