Express DQ list

Please only list your name and date of registration/application on their website. I'll give them a call with the list of names. No regular post. Just say if you've been DQ'ed and the date you applied and I'll give them a call if they are within a close range. List hrs and any reason you think you might have not been chosen.

I was DQ'ed after checking today.

I applied Nov. 21st
1700tt/140multi
no criminal history or speeding tickets ect.
I did select Houston as my choice when it asked.

CrazyFr8 01-03-2007 09:09 PM

Would love to hear what they have to say. I have 1400 and 700 turbine 121 exp. If you hear anything please post it!! Sounds like a computer error....if all these happened in the last week or so.

Booker 01-04-2007 04:16 AM

Does the web site still give you a "reference" number after you apply? Just curious.

Nightsky 01-04-2007 06:58 PM

Don't give up guys. I had problems last spring when I applied( I think it's a different system than they use now though) with an ATP, 2500 hours and 1300 part 121 time - and I got the form email saying 'I did not meet the qualifications for current openings.' A few weeks after that I got an interview invite. Im not sure why they are having so many problems with the application system, it most definitely needs work.

I think everyone here is a big boy or girl, why not let folks just call on their own as they see fit?

Honestly I'd say some of you guys are too high on the time. They don't want to hire someone who could leave in a year with 3000 hours. They want the kid with the $100,000 loan, the glassy eyes looking up at that shinny jet with 700 hours or less and not a frickin clue about the real world. Say what you will I am certain it is a fine company but every company has its agenda.

bobloblaw 01-04-2007 08:46 PM

Applied: October 5, 2006
Status: Screening
Flight time: 1296TT

yes, ive heard this argument many a times and to some aspects its probably true, but they all have to wait in line to upgrade to get the golden turbine PIC time no matter how much time they have.

unless you know something that we dont know about the majors like there so desperate turbo PIC is gonna become a thing of the past again.

jk. it will be years before it gets to that again

If you have 1000 turbine PIC, some regionals might pass, but even thousands of hours in the right seat should not be a problem.

One my friends applied back in september. He called after the new year to see why he never got a call. His was saying screeing. The lady said the person in charge of looking a the apps left to go to another position. She said that you should reapply ASAP. They are up to date with apps. Hope that helps.

I'm glad you decided to post something random when specifically asked not to. You have the only post that helps no one. If you're such a big boy why can't you follow directions? I ask FYI because the same thing happened at Eagle a while back. If a person checked and saw they were DQ'ed on their own they would perhaps just assume they were DQ'ed. However if a mass amount were Dq'ed in a relatively small amount of time then something is wrong either with their website or staffing ect. By calling and saying, "a number of people all meeting your requirements were DQ'ed" vs "I was DQ'ed" it could bring up a whole new issue they were unaware of. In this case the person who had all of our applications for that point in time moved on to another position. Had I not spoken with several people here about it I would not have called them. I would have accepted I just didn't get the interview. The point of this was to bring the group that got DQ'ed together so that collectively we knew the issue did not lie within ourselves. Since you have absolutely no idea on what happened, nothing constructive to add, and are not one of the people in this group... buzz off. You were asked not to post to start with. Feel free to make your own thread next time you want to randomly babble.

Don't get your panties in a bunch because I'm going to post again Mr. Toilet.

I guess you and I are just see this differently. I would have called them no matter what was happening to others if I was told I was DQ'd because I would want to know why. If someone tells me I am not qualified for something that I think I am then you better believe I am going to find out why. But if you're the kind of guy who just rolls over and says "oh well, better luck next time" then more power to you. Hope things improve in your job search. You're pretty touchy for such an uber confident CFI...don't know how well you'd fit in around here...

It isn't about being touchy. It's just that this thread was to find out about who was dq'ed and possibly why. That's it. I stated such at the beginning. I even kindly asked only to post if you were DQ'ed. I wanted to know if there were a bunch or just one or two of us. The reason I did it is none of your concern. Point is you can't resist just adding your 2cents on everything even when I kindly asked not to. And your 2 cents had a touch of "smart mouth" in it. Anyway I got the info I wanted. I called. Told them what was up. Found out the details. Thanks for lack of anything positive.

BenM 01-05-2007 03:14 PM

I applied november 30th 06

1400 TT 300 Multi 200 Turbine
Disqualified???

And where do you get off telling ANYONE what they can and can't say on a public forum? If I want to post that I like puppies then screw you, I'm gonna post it! If you don't like what I have to say just don't fricken read it!!! Good luck getting on here at XJT:rolleyes:

Don't read it? You posted in my thread. I didn't say anything to them because they were constructive. Something which you lack. While it might seem a little dumb to you I consider each person's post theirs. They started it and I am respectful of it. You lack that. Like I said. If you want to random stupid things then go start your own thread about random stupid things. To jump into other people's and always steer them off topic is very counterproductive for those of us that are trying to use them for a particular reason. Your statements mean you chose to be counterproductive to others on here and that's rude.

You were right behind me. By like 7-9days. With your 200 turbine you look better than I do even though I have more TT. Give them a call back and resubmit your resume. You might have to make a new profile to do so due to the whole 90days bit. I figure I'll do it in another couple months when I closer to finishing my job here. I'll probably be around 2000TT 150-200ish multi with 150ish turbine by then. Hopefully won't have any issues and hopefully I won't get any more students lol... I'm on my last 10 w00t! Talk about feeling the burn over here.

Oh now you're just being a jerk. Lighten up Toilet. Go get a beer or laid or something. I'd have a beer with you but I've got an early show tomorrow. Guess I'm left with option B:D

ToiletDuck 01-05-2007 09:04 PM

if you want to get laid yes I"m in the right spot(mexican border, boys town). I wasn't being serious. But really... I like puppies.... cummon.

cfi273 01-05-2007 11:23 PM

Did you bust any check rides? If you failed your CFII they will DQ you and for other reasons, but this is the only one that I know of. Hope this helps.

Then I guess my question to YOU is why aren't you in a better mood? Is it because you hate puppies? I can see how hating puppies would make anyone bitter...:D

freightpusher 01-06-2007 05:38 AM

What is EJ's HR phone number?

ToiletDuck 01-06-2007 07:44 AM

800-230-8542 then just ask for HR

CrazyFr8 01-07-2007 03:26 PM

Online app says that I was DQed, just got an email from HR for an interview today. So I would say disregard the online info. Sent my stuff in a week ago, interview on the 12th, classes start within two weeks of interview.
