party on man

how is the proximity to the bar? I would be more concerned about that ;)
right below is the bar
check out Montgomery Inn for Ribs its downtown on the water front. Stop in at a SkyLine Chili, La Rosa's Pizza, Graeter's Ice Cream, Izzy's Corn Beef, Cincinnati Spaghetti Factory. Cincinnati is the best town, loved living there. Check out Kings Island and The Beach if you stay based out of CVG.

Here is a panoramic shot from my room at the radisson. It is an ok hotel and the service is very nice. There is a bar on the roof with the revolving restaurant. Two things to keep in mind though, you can not afford the bar and you can not afford to be in the bar and make it through training. Just do without as you will need a clear head for studying and to make it through the sims. The restaurant is too expensive as well for more than about one meal. Remember you will be here almost three months. There is plenty of food around here and you should bring a nuker if you have one. Shoebox sized fridge in the room and nothing to cook with or on except a coffee maker.
Good tv in the room which you will not have time to watch and there is WIFI and public computers in the lobby. There is a washer and dryer in the lower level but only two of each. The pool is nice and there is a hot tub. Hotel is very noisy on the weekends and busy if there is a bengels game in town. Shuttle is there to take you in the a.m. if you need it. WHEN YOU CHECK IN TRY TO GET A ROOM ON THE EAST SIDE AWAY FROM THE FREEWAY!!!!! WHEN YOU CHECK IN TRY TO GET A ROOM ON THE EAST SIDE AWAY FROM THE FREEWAY!!!!! WHEN YOU CHECK IN TRY TO GET A ROOM ON THE EAST SIDE AWAY FROM THE FREEWAY!!!!! is that clear??? Remember that when you get here you need to commit to Comair to study and be prepared. The fire hose will be used and you need to be in a state of mind to focus on training and learning this stuff. What they teach you is all new and all the stuff we learned to get the interview has never come into question and nothing that they will teach you again. It is not an easy class and there is no skating by here. See ya here at the Rad. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...f/panarama.jpg |
Biggest question about our hotels... Is there heat/ac and a working shower?
Well the sh*tter works, It is a hot hotel and I have never had to turn on my heat yet. Sleep number beds in every room (60) and they are all king size.

Is that Sports bar still on the Bluff on the other side of the Freeway? That place was kinda fun after class for a few cold ones. Good Wings too.
Pantera, I dont know when you started class or if you are in my class. I am in the first class that went through the new bridge program. I believe that I could of been drunk every night and passed the first section of ground school We just took our basic indoc test today. 40 multiple choice, 10 short answer. I got a 93% and never studied one minute outside of class. I did homework while we were doing the lesson in class. An 80% is required to pass. I also have a room on the freeway side. Some people say it is loud but it doesnt seem to bother my one bit. You can request a microwave from the front desk and some people have bought George Foreman grills. If you eat upstairs they have a comair menu if you sit at the bar and everything on it is $6.50. Other than that, have fun.
yes it is still there
no I am not in your class, basic indoc was pretty easy, I guess I just strive for a little higher then low 90's

We dont get paid any more for getting better than an 80. I think the test could of been written better as well. Some answers contradicted what we learned. Something contradict eachother between student notes, the ops manual, and standards manual. So I am happy with my 93%
is it single or double occupancy
Single occupency. I guess I wasnt drunk every night because I kept waiting for them to throw everything at us. Plus I was tired every night I got back from class....kind of a lame excuse but....
