They recently raised the crew rate to $65-69...too many crew staying there.
New spot supposedly is the airport Radisson at the old terminal area for $50 ish plus tax.
There are several other days inn and budget motels arround that you can get for 40 ish but you might need your own car. I'd check priceline etc.

For $65 to $69 the Cambria is way better.
The Radisson is generally around $50 depending on how full they are. Not a bad hotel. Free snacks every day starting from 5pm to 7pm, and occasionally they offer Manager Specials (two free beers) in the bar.
Bring earplugs (it's under the final approach to 23R) and a car if you want food other than the hotel restaurants.

Just use FedEx to js in the middle of the night and sleep in crew room as needed. First year pay at RAH is brutal. Don't spend your money on rooms. Also, bending over for scheduling gets you free rooms. Do what every other RAH pilot does.

I'd rather sleep at the Airport than stay at the Ramada again ($54 crew rate). New management will not honor this rate when the hotel fills up for whatever convention comes to town even if you reserve it weeks in advance. Van there only runs every hour too.
