Hey Lee Moak....

LOL. Are you saying to vote thru a pos contract like psa did? If you are then FU. We will continue to vote NO until the contract is amicable. If this burns thru your dues then boohoo call the waaaambulance! I'm paying dues so you can do the same job as me for 5x the pay! There is massive discrepancies here and ALPO is to blame.

Delta,ALPA and all the majors threw Comair under the bus and Eagle, uh I'm sorry. Envoy is next. It's not about scope. It's about union dues and letting Moak and the other clowns collect a union pension AND an airline pension. Yes, Moak gets a pension from ALPA.

I can't believe ASA/XJT still haven't gotten a JCBA anyway.

Lee Moak is embarrassed that the ASA/XJT merger is taking so long and is worse than the USAir/AWA merger. Lee doesn't like the fact that we debate it on message boards and FB. Lee cares more about ALPA's reputation than he does about ASA/XJT.
Guess what Lee, maybe if the DAL MEC had listened to the ASA and CMR MECs over a decade we wouldn't be in this situation. You and ALPA failed at the job of scope. You have failed as a leader. I really don't care that you got feathers in a ruffle over all of this message board ranting about your failures.
Call me if you want to defend your failures.....

ALPA needs a major makeover, no doubt. And starting a union for the "fee for departure" sector, I think, is the way to go because what's good for me at UAL ain't always good for you. Though DAL and UAL have allowed the gouge in scope to go up, the overall outsourced jet flying is going down. 50 seaters are getting parked 2x to 3x the rate of 70-76 seater deliveries. It's a slippery slope because 1 major global meltdown and UAL or DAL could go running to a judge like AMR did just a few years back.
Moak really screwed the pooch with the Envoy/PSA deal. That was a huge ******* up, and is not how a union should work.
What I want to know is, had the RJDC prevailed, what would the US airline industry look like today? Where would you be? Or Dan Ford for that matter. Serious question, because it always appeared to me like it was a seniority grab.
All the best,
Jamie
