airline apps

I think it is finally time to start getting those applications out there and I am looking to your wisdom to help me. I was curious how long the processes generally take? I was also curious how I stand against other canidates, I'm around 1000tt but weak in the multi department around 60me. Any help would be fantastic.

$50 for FDX...don't hear anyone complaining about that.

You don't have to pay on airlineapps. You can fill out a free one to go to one company specifically.

No, that's to get your name on the list with 10,000 other wannabes...not even an interview guarantee. What's your definition of an "ACTUAL job"?

HMP you crack me up keep up the comedy. I will not be a lifer where I am at. But if a guy wants to stay at his regional and make xxxxK in his hometown, I have no problem with that mentality. Driving to work in your hometown for xdollars beats commuting to ABC for xxdollars. I've commuted plenty and it sucks.

BTW I just applied at McD's and got accepted imagine the possibilites..........french fries apple pies and big mac's yummmmmmmm. Ha just playin keep up the laughs though.

Again HMP, you let me know when any of our Unions decide to organize against the crappy 50-76 jet pay. You let me know when any our unions decide enough is enough, I'll be on board. But it looks to me like all the legacy carriers unions GAVE UP their scope, and cursed the younger generation of pilots into years of terrible pay so their wide body pay would be protected. Flying a jet for SkyWest is the best possible job for me with my qualifications. I don't commute, it's relatively good pay, and it will provide me the fastest path possible to the majors. And until you can come up with a decent arguement as to how it will help anything if I give up my job at SkyWest, get a prop job with Colgan, take a pay cut, commute, spend even more time trying to upgrade, I will continue to believe that you have absolutely no grasp on reality.

I hear you HMP. I can't imagine paying to apply for a job let alone having to pay for a plane ticket to get to my interview and a hotel room once I get there.

Oh wait that's what you have to do for a UPS interview isn't it?
