TSA getting a Denver base
 

Is TSA getting a DEN base? Who is the flying for? Is this growth or just movement? How many aircraft will be based there?

Wow. Welcome to the party. Reading 5 pages of the TSA thread would answer every one of those questions.

18 145XRs for United in DEN which are being taken from Expressjet. They are getting 36 total and the rest go to IAD supposedly.

How many new airplanes and are any going to Denver? Are the rest going to IAD?

18 to DEN. First FA class starts in January. United wants base open ASAP most likely won't happen before March.

Not a single new one. They are all used. Coming from XJT.

18 to DEN. 90-100 crews based there. Will mostly be going junior from what I hear. The other 18 are going to IAD.

Any idea how many crews they'll need in Denver? Also, where will these planes be coming from??

Oh, you mean somewhere buried in the 5,000+ post TSA thread? I don't know about you, but I don't have time to dig through those obnoxiously long threads that cover hundreds of different topics. In fact, if I find myself reading through those long threads and find a topic, I make a point to create a new thread (like this one). I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Where are the other 18 aircraft coming from? Has it been announced?
